自从2022年7月26日常玮平被控“涉嫌颠覆国家政权案”被秘密开庭后，至今沒有新的消息。常玮平律师的处境让人担忧。我们将这个报道(《陈紫娟千里“开庭记”:从深圳到凤县，去守候一位人权律师的庭审》）翻译成英文，并呼吁海内外社会对常玮平律师保持关注。我们希望大家能把中文版或者英文版转发给身边更多关注这个事件的朋友，哪怕是一个小小的转发行动，或者向他们介绍这个案件和人权律师常玮平的故事（关于常玮平的故事，可参考《律师常玮平，一个不见容于国家的人》，英文版Intolerable to the State: Lawyer Chang Weiping），都是对这个案件的一种支持。这些行动无论是对他还是他的家人都很重要。

Since July 26, 2022, when Chang Wei-ping‘s trial on the charge of “suspicion of subversion of state power” was held in secret, there has been no updates on his case. This is worrisome. We have translated this report into English and call on the community at home and abroad to continue to pay attention to Mr. Chang’s case.

We hope that you will forward the Chinese or English version of this report to people who are concerned about the story of human rights lawyers in China, in general, and Mr. Chang’s case, in particular. A seemingly small action, such as introducing people to this case and the plight of other human rights lawyers, is a form of support that can go a long way (see “Intolerable to the State: Lawyer Chang Weiping”).
